About VACA
Veterans Assistance & Claims Advocacy (VACA) is a Texas-based, women-led nonprofit dedicated to walking alongside U.S. military veterans as they navigate the VA claims process. We know the system can feel confusing, frustrating, and overwhelming. Our goal is to make it clearer, calmer, and more manageable.
We focus on respectful, one-on-one support for veterans who need help understanding their benefits, preparing claims, or connecting with the right VA offices and services. Every veteran’s story matters, and we are here to make sure it’s heard.
What We Do
VACA specializes in practical, hands-on help with VA claims and getting veterans connected to the Department of Veterans Affairs.

- Support with preparing and submitting VA disability and other benefit claims
- Help gathering documents, medical records, and evidence
- Review and help you understand VA letters and decisions
- Assist with finding and contacting the right VA offices or programs
